inchie arts - holiday time!

I've been packing away the Halloween stuff and putting out a few just fall decor items but, I am really antsy to pull out the Christmas gear. I will resist until after Thanksgifing but, I can at least play with my Christmas craft goodies, right?!

I've been caught by a bit of a retro bug and love the fuschia, green, teal combos lately. The pearls on this card remind me of candy.

I stamped some wrapped candy images on the Inchie to pull the colors and the sweet theme together.
Supplies:
Cardstock: Inchie Arts, Core'dinations
Patterned Paper: Basic Grey
Inchie: Inchie Arts
Pearls: Zva Creative
Punch: We R Memory Keepers
Ink: Colorbox
Stamps: American Crafts
Embossing Powder: American Crafts

Have a good one!

ahhh... It's November!

Please accept my apologies for being completely MIA the last few weeks. We've had a crazy month of travel to DC, Philly and Texas plus I was finishing up my 3rd book with F&W.

Thankfully the travel is done and so is the book! YAY!!! I absolutely love all card projects in this book. We will have 180+ new card ideas to share with you in the summer of '10. ;)

I'll be back to more regular posting this week and I am really looking forward to it.

Until then, I wanted to share the Unity November kit of the month - Simply Magical with you.

Feeling Fallish- Inchie Arts

It's that time of year. I LOVE the colors of Fall. I just wish our weather would have been a bit warmer lately but, the colors make up for it big time.

Again, playing with just the scraps on my desk from another project, I pulled together this Fall notecard.
I love how you can trim the corners of the Inchie with We R Memory Keepers Corner Chomper. I then stamped the image and colored in with Copics. The little dots on the background were also done with the markers. Super quick for a fun background.
Supplies:
Kraft card: Jillibean Soup
Cardstock: Core'dinations - Jenni Bowlin Studios Embossed collection
Inchie: Inchie Arts
Buttons: Stampin' UP!
Patterned Paper: Bo Bunny Press
Punches: Fiskars and We R Memory Keepers
Twine: Jillibean Soup
Trim: Maya Road
Stamp: Lockhart Stamp Company
Ink: Momento
Markers: Copic

Have a good one!

Quick Inchie card

This is a super quick and simple gift/card you could send to a friend.

Supplies:
Cardstock: Core'dinations
Stamp: Lockhart Stamp Company
Patterned Paper: Bo Bunny Press
Inchies: Inchie Arts
Punch: Fiskars
Ink: Colorbox
Markers: Copic

I really made this out of scraps from some projects I was working on that were sitting on my desk. Simply score the scrap of cardstock to create a folded cover for a tea bag. Then stamp the image on the front of the cover and on the Inchie. Color in with Copic Markers and adhere the Inchie to the front of the cover. Add the tea bag inside and the punched patterned paper border to the top and staple closed.

A super simple and quick gift to let a friend know you are thinking of them.

Have a good one!
