This Saturday is World Card Making Day. I wonder if Hallmark has a card for that! ha!
A year ago I barely made any cards, now that *seems* that's all I've made. Well, I've made plenty of layouts but, they are all tied up with upcoming books so unfortunately I can't share those. But, CARDS! I can share plenty of cards.
If you are going to participate in any of the Card Making events coming up on different message boards and need a little creative boost, grab a sketch or 2 to get you going.
This card was *loosely* based off of this weeks sketch from SketchThis!. I kinda flipped the sketch for this. There are 69 sketches over there to use for either a layout or a CARD. Check it out!
For both of these cards, I broke into the pack of papers sent to me by the sweet Kim Hughes. She has been designing her own line of stamps for Cornish Heritage Farms and has now added her own paper line called Mocha Chica. The stamps used on the Happy Birthday card are from Kim as well. Cosmo the Turtle is too stinkin' cute! The Tag You're It! stamps are a go to staple for me as well.
The Hello Friend card is just Kim's papers. SUPER fast and easy cards since the 'stamped' images are already done for you and everything coordinates beautifully!
Some how I ended up with an extra set of the Mocha Chica Papers.
In honor of World Card Making Day... I'd love to give it away.
Just leave a comment between now and Friday at midnight and I will post the winner on Saturday.
Have a good one!
