Tis the Season!

This past weekend I went home to my Dad's for Thanksgiving. It was nice to see all of my step-brother's and sisters and their families. This kids had a great time playing with their cousins and helping Grandma put up and decorate the Christmas Tree.

I managed to wrangle the kids long enough to snap a photo to send out with the Christmas Cards. And no, this was NOT the 1st shot. It took many takes to get even one that what would be worthy of mailing.

Right before we ate, we were able to get Bill up on the Web Cam so everyone could say hello to him. What a treat to have him there 'with us' in the best way we could.

While in Columbus, we were lucky to have some decent weather for the end of November. We ran over to the Columbus Zoo for the light display. All I can say is WOW! The ENTIRE Zoo was wrapped in lights. It was unbelievable.

Our timing was perfect and we were one of the 1st in line to Santa. The kids had their game plan and were trying to whittle their lists down to just 2 items to the 2 most important ones on their list. I wasn't able to hear what they requested but, they seemed pretty certain that Santa was going to come through. (Let's cross fingers that he does!) ha!I had a few moments to run out to a Scrapbook Store in Powell (B&B Scrapbooks) while the kids played at their Aunt B's. A very cute store. I briefly met the owner while at CHA this summer and I wanted to see what they carried. I found a super cute new line of products from a new Manufacturer, Jillibean Soup (blog link). She's working on her website currently. Check out the link for her blog for now. I absolutely adore the little chickadee paper.
I think that's all for now!
