I am thrilled that this week honor's our 'Hero's'. It's pretty obvious that my hero is my Husband Bill.
He just spent a year away from us serving in Iraq. He witnessed many things that I wish he never had to deal with. I am very thankful that he is now home with us safe and sound.

I'm so thankful your husband made it home safely. Unless something changes, my husband will be taking his turn beginning in September. It's not just Bill who is a hero, though. It is you and those who support them while they're gone. I've never had to make that sacrifice, even though the spousal unit has had 22 years time in service. Families who have gone through this are my heroes.
