Guest month at Ally Scraps

This month I was asked to be a guest at Ally Scraps. Not only are they semi local to me they have a great online store.

Last week they added some some of the NEW Jillibean Soup to their store so we added a bunch of Jillibean projects to their blog. Here are a few projects using the NEW Grandma's Christmas Crab Soup by Jillibean Soup.

I also and thrilled that Ally Scraps added Core'dinations to their in store selection. So I thought it would be a good time to share a few recent projects using Core'dinations.

Birthday Blast card uses Black Core Essentials and Yellow Vintage Core. I love that you can run this through an embossing machine and then lightly sand to show the color from underneath. The yellow Vintage as wrinkled and then sanded for some fun texture.
p.s. This card was created using CPS sketch #133.

Chillin' Out uses Black Magic with a Grey color core and Orange color core. You can see that I ran the die cut title through the embossing folder and then sanded to show the grey. The OUT in the title was just sanded to reveal most of the Orange. The circles on the background were created using brass stencils to dry emboss and then sanded to show the color.
Snack Time was created using Chocolate Box papers. I rand the tree through my Fiskars curvy crimper and then sanded the top to reveal the lighter brown color core. I used a stylus on my leaves and then sanded the ridges to create veins. Again, I die cut my title letters from Core and then sanded for texture.

There are so many possiblilities for this paper!

Check the Ally Scraps blog for more projects later this month using October Afternoon and Bella Blvd.

Have a good one!
