My new home!

Well, it's about 90% done. The new 'office'. I've been down in the basement for the past 4 years and my sweet husband agreed to switch spaces with me. A quick trip to IKEA to pick up the pieces I'd been eyeing and a gallon of paint... I now have a new home.

and I LOVE it!

Here are some pictures of the new scraproom. It's not a huge room. About 11x12. There is no closet so I had to make all my storage count. Before you ask... the rug is from target.com. :)

view from the door
(don't mind the boxes... I am kitting for upcoming classes)

Turning to the right a bit from the door

and the other corner
bulletin boards are from HomeGoods

love this drawer from IKEA. I should have bought it years ago.

bottom 3 drawers

top 3 drawers
I put down drawer liner stuff to keep things from sliding around.
Drawer organizers from Target

Lazy Susan from IKEA

Unity Stamp Storage
this took me 2 solid days to organize

I think I need a few shelves over the TV and desk that holds my sewing machine and Cricut. Plus I need to pick up 2 more chairs. IKEA was out of them when I went down.

If you have any questions about the room I will answer them in a post soon.

Anyone want to come scrap?!

Have a good one!

Looks so fabulous! I love the color and your great big desk!!

IKEA has a great shelf...think it is Billy that would be great over your tv area (I soo wish I had a tv in my room!). I have one over my main desk (right above my Cricut) if you want to have a look (http://jamielanedesigns.blogspot.com/2011/01/welcome-to-my-space.html). I also have shelves with jars on them to the right of my desk which are all IKEA and one of my favorite pieces in my room!

Love it! LOOOOVE your rug!

I have alot of the same IKEA furniture in my room. Only, yours is WAY prettier with your yellow paint and organization.
I discovered the same drawer unit at IKEA last Fall around the time school started. I checked stock online b4 we left Indy and they had 26 in stock but by the time we got down to Cinci, they were ALL gone. I was so bummed. But we ended up getting one a few months later. LOVE IT! Wish it were a bit wider though, layouts and 12x12 paper are a tad bit too wide.

Thanks for sharing your room! I hope you will teach a class at A's sometime this year, I'd love to meet you!

Have fun kitting for your class.

FABULOUS!! So crisp, clean, and organized. I really love the table. Do you remember the name of it? IKEA, right? Also, are those DVD cases for your Unity? I am in complete craft room chaos right now! I have been holding off on buying anything until I have found the perfect storage solutions before I invest in furniture, etc., and then it end up not working. Your space looks exactly like what I am wanting. Think I may hit up IKEA and Tar-jay this weekend! thanks sooooo much for sharing.
