Good Thursday! I hope you all have been having a great time getting ready for Christmas and have and/or are spending a lot to time with your friends and family. We've been a mad house of cookie making, snow playing and Christmas movie watching fools here.

Supplies:
Cardstock: Jillibean Soup, Core'dinations
Pattern Paper: Crate Paper

Unity Thursday! Hip Hop!

Before I get started... Did you see all the incredible stuff going down at Unity lately? Tons of co-branding with the hottest companies out there plus (what I think) is the best part... YOU CAN BUY ANY AND ALL UNITY STAMPS DIRECT FROM UNITY NOW!!!! Plus you can always count on them for SOME sort of deal so make sure you hit the Unity blog to see what's on sale and get shopping!

Ok, so today's themes were either making ornaments or a kids craft. I went with the kids craft route.
I made a little coloring book to toss in my purse that will be my secret weapon when the kids get antsy while we run errands during the holiday season.

All I did was grab a handful of my past kits and white cardstock. Then I stamped away on 4x5" of white cardstock with black ink. Finally, I made a simple cover and back from chipboard and bound it with a small binder ring. SO simple. I always have a small bag of crayons in my purse anyways to keep the kids occupied at restaurants so this will be a perfect addition.

Supplies:
Cardstock: Bazzill
Patterned paper, button, twine: Jillibean Soup
Stamps: Unity Stamp Company
Ink: Memento
Punch: Stampin' Up!

Unity Thursday! Hip Hop! -- December Daily style

Happy Thursday Blog Hoppers!

Today's hop theme is 'Journal Your Christmas' ie. December Daily albums. I love the idea of the December Daily album. Create the bones of an album and then in the month of December when life gets crazy all you have to do is snap a photo a day and jot down a note about what you did that day.

It took me all of an hour to create the bones of my December Daily album. I used the Unity Stamp Company December Kit of the Month and a $4 mini album from Target.

The cover was stamped with the sentiment stamp from the Nov '10 KOTM using white pigment ink. Then I added some Imaginisce gems with the I-Rock and tied a ribbon around the rubber band that keeps the book closed.

For the cover page I used 2 different older Unity Stamp Sets (but good basics to have!)

The inside pages are all the same. On the right I cut 4x6 pieces of white cardstock and stamped 'Picture Perfect' with the Nov '10 KOTM.
On the left side I cut 4x6 pieces of white cardstock and stamped Just a note and the poinsettia image.
The plan is to make a note on the left and then I can add the photos on the right.
How simple is this?! Seriously!

Unity Stamps Thankful and Grateful Hip Hop

If you haven't noticed yet that today's Hip Hop theme is Thankful and/or Grateful. I decided that I needed to make my 'project' a set of 12 very simple Thank You cards for Angela, a woman that I have never met. I do know her sister, Stephanie Hunt. Stephanie owns Bella Blvd and she has always been one of those very kind and generous women that you love the moment you meet her. Stephanie's sister, Angela lost her husband in a tragic card accident just about 2 weeks ago. He was so incredibly young and leaves behind his wife and 3 beautiful children. I was forward this information along with a request for handmade thank you cards so that Angela may use them for all those that are reaching out to her in this time of need. That's the LEAST I could do. It just breaks my heart. I couldn't even imagine what she is going through.

Thanks So Much cards
Supplies:
Cardstock: Jillibean Soup and Core'dination
Pattern Paper: Bella Blvd
Stamps: Ippity by Unity Stamp Company
Ink: Stampin' Up! and Colorbox
Twine: Jillibean Soup

Before you move along, I wanted to share the winner from my World Card Making Day challenge over at Splitcoast Stampers for Unity....

Congrats go to farmers_wife!!! She created this wonderful pop up card!
Congrats and Thank you to everyone that participated!

Unity on Thursday! Hip-Hop!

Hi-De-Ho! :)

Yup it's Thursday and that means Unity Stamp Company Hip-Hop! The Thursday blog hop is always full of so much inspiration. You might notice that things are a bit different this week. We're mixing up Hip Hop a bit. This week most of the team did a project instead of a card to show you some different ways to use the Unity Stamps. Don't worry. There will still be many more great cards to come. Like I said, we're just mixing it up a bit. ;)

I used one of the Ippity Stamp sets for my Halloween gift bag topper. Isn't that spider darling? Such a quick and simple way to dress up a plane cellophane bag.

Supplies:
Stamps: Ippity Stamps
Ink: Memento
Patterned Paper: Bo Bunny Press
Punches: EK Success and We R Memory Keepers
Twine: Jillibean Soup
Cardstock: Core'dinations
