ahead of the game for once -- february worldwin projects

It's always my intention to get my monthly design work done early in the month so I can 'play' the rest of the month with no deadlines breathing down my neck.
Most months I get a few pieces done early and then the others get pushed aside for either inspiration or just life in general.
I am so excited to have my February projects done for WorldWin already! Check the blog during the month for full supply lists and instructions. When you get to the blog, just click on Designers and then on my name. All projects loaded to both the blog and the galleries with in the blog have full supply lists and instructions so you can print them off and create them at home.

This month the design team was asked to work with Vellums, Papers from The Paper Mill Store and our stamp partners. As well as using the themes of Valentine's Day, St. Patrick's Day and Spring in general. I'm usually not a huge fan of Vellum but, I really enjoyed working with it this month. Something just a bit different and Valentine's Day is a perfect time to utilize this shimmery and translucent paper.
The first project is a small gift bag made out of striped, translucent vellum and ColorMates cardstock.
This 2nd project is a little sleeve/envelope made from parchment translucent vellum that is used to hold homemade coupons for my kids. I cut out the coupons using my Cricut and then stamped on them with a personalized stamp using Just Rite Stamps. These stamps are so cool because I can spell out anything I wish and create my own sentiments. PERFECT for a project like this! One of my favorite TPMS (The Paper Mill Store) papers is Eames - Furniture texture papers. They are thick, embossed and gorgeous colors. I wish they came in more colors. I used the white Eames paper for the card base on the GOOD LUCK card below and then used the green for the shamrocks.
Again, using Just Rite Stamps, I was able to create the GOOD LUCK stamped sentiment for the card front. Super simple card considering I used a heart punch to create the leaves of the Shamrock.I hope you will pop over to the Paper Crazy blog throughout the month to check out more projects from the design team.
Have a good one!

The coupons are the best Valentine's gifts! I already know I'm giving my son that same coupon - 30 extra min. playing on the wii?! (Let's see how long he can go without redeeming that one! ;) )
