Cards for Heroes Blog Hop!

Happy Memorial Day weekend!

This very special weekend where we honor those that have served our country is the perfect backdrop to support the troops in another way.

Cards for Heroes is an AMAZING organization that creates, collects and distributes cards to service members in all parts of the world while they are deployed.

My family has benefited from these generously donated cards.
While my husband, Bill, was deployed to Iraq last year his unit received multiple boxes of cards from CFH.

The boxes were devoured by his soliders and he managed to grab a few himself.

My kids and I each received a card from him and stamped on the back was the CFH logo.

We greatly appreciate the SMALL but dedicated group that pulls this all together this weekend. Everyone on this blog hop is donating at least the cards you are seeing if not more.

If you would like to donate either cards of ANY TYPE or cash to help fund the shipping, please stop by the Cards For Heroes website.

If you missed the beginning of the Hop --> Start HERE.
Now... onto the next blog:

Leanne!
(her blog is worth the trip! i am LOVING her style)

Have a great Memorial Day weekend!

fabulous cards Kimber! It is nice to hear first hand of the wonderful work this group is doing. My DH is currently deployed and he was complaining the other night that he waited in line at the makeshift PX for 30 minutest to find only birthday and graduation cards.. so he claims he made me a card! I found out about CFH on Ali E's blog and I signed his unit up! LOL! - I am also planning on making some cards to donate! Thanks for your creative time and energy!
