What have I been up to this week?
I have been a busy busy girl scrappin'!
I have been working on my kit club work for August.
The 1st kit club is www.serendipityscrapbookdesigns.com
This club has 3 different choices each month to choose from.
This month I got to play with the Dream Street Kit. (These papers were designed by Suzanne Quillen)
Lots of goodies in this kit too... Bazzill Polka Dot Big Brads, Making Memories Pins, Maya Road HUGE Bottle Caps, Bazzill Big Paper Clips and Pretty Ribbon along with Scenic Route Chipboard Stencils, Cardstock and Pattern Paper to make alot of different projects.
Here are the 3 I made with the kit:
4 You card
Up and Over
notice the knots in the ribbon to emulate the ropes Andrew was climbing in the pictures.
Close up of the BIG Bottle Caps and the hand stitching.
The 2nd kit that I design for is http://www.papergardenscrapbooking.com/ . This month's kit was chocked full of Scenic Route and 7 Gypsies *swoon* LOVE LOVE LOVE both companies!
Here's the projects I created with the August kit:
I was also asked to be a guest designer for an embellishment only kit club called Artistic Embellishments (http://www.artistic-embellishments.com/) Every month Alana has 2 different embellishment kits (one is color and the other is style) and then an alphabet kit.
Here are the projects I did with her August Kit: (with each kit, I had to make a layout, a card and an embellishment)
Style Kit (Geometric)
And we had to make 1 layout using both kits.
I had so much fun working with these kits that I put together and entry for her permanent design team search.
Wish me luck!
Finally... I have been working on some freelance projects for a friend of mine that is a manufacturer's rep out in California. She is having a picnic for the stores she calls on and even some of the manufacturers will be attending. I wish I could be there... at least my projects will be.
I have soooo much more left to do for her. My head is going to explode with all the fun stuff I have in mind. I will keep updating as I get things done.
I will post pictures tomorrow. :)
Thanks for listening!
